This Festive Chai Hot Chocolate combines the cozy comfort of rich cocoa with the warm, spiced aroma of chai. It’s creamy, dairy-free, and perfect for sipping by the fire or sharing during the holidays.
Ingredients
- 4 cups (960 ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 4 tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp. maple syrup
- ⅛ tsp. ground cardamom
- ⅛ tsp. ground allspice
- ⅛ tsp. ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp. ground cloves
- ½ tsp. ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp. ground ginger
Directions
- Place all ingredients into a medium pot over medium-high heat.
- Bring to a rolling boil and whisk until everything is fully dissolved.
- Reduce heat and gently simmer for 3 minutes.
- Pour into cups and serve immediately. Enjoy warm!
