Buffalo Tofu Nuggets

Crispy, spicy, and protein-packed, these Buffalo Tofu Nuggets are a lighter, plant-based take on classic wings. Air-fried for extra crunch without the excess oil, they’re perfect for a snack, appetizer, or light meal.
Ingredients
- 14 oz extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 tbsp hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot), divided
- 1½ tsp cornstarch
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Olive oil cooking spray
- Celery sticks, for serving
- 2 tbsp light ranch or nonfat Greek-yogurt ranch per serving
Directions
- In a medium bowl, toss the tofu cubes with 1 tbsp hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
- Sprinkle tofu with cornstarch and toss until evenly coated.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil and arrange tofu in a single layer.
- Spray the tops lightly with oil. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 12–14 minutes, shaking halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Transfer the tofu to a bowl and toss with the remaining 1 tbsp hot sauce.
- Serve with celery sticks and ranch or Greek yogurt dip.
